Whimsey and Wonky

This collection is inspired by modern ceramic forms from the 1950’s, creating strong graphic shapes, tall thin vessels with quirky handles once grouped together look like a family of giacometti sculptures.

The leaning vessles trick the viewer into thinking they are falling over where the stripes are using the horizontal and vertical plaine to let your eye know they are well grounded.

Distorted vessles are squashed and moulded to look crumpled with glazes that are layered running into each other to look lush and volcanic.
